Trip Update

Hey, this is Dennis and Keith. This has been a trip of a lifetime. So far we are 900 miles into the trip. We have been led to still waters and green pastures. But I am sorry to say that every store, motel and business is out to rob everyone. Two hamburgers with fries and drinks will cost you 33 dollars, not including tip. Even Fruit loops is $8.99, and here in Canada Cheerios is $10.99. Being active bicyclist, we need to eat 2 to 3 times a day which leaves no money to get a place to stay during bad weather. It has rained now for 5 days. Sorry this has become a problem during our trip and hopefully more days to come. Due to these circumstances, in 250 miles we will be catching a ferry from Haines, Alaska to Bellingham, Washington. Today we have set up a paypal account. If there is anyway you could help out it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
