Last night we washed the bikes and didn't get to sleep until 1:30 or so. This morning Dad let me sleep in until 10
and after a good nights rest we headed on out. We rode up to a restaruant up the street called the beehive were we ordered some
breakfast. After that we rode down to the town of Raymond and the trip was very hilly. Took forever to get there but we finally
made it. We grabbed us some grub at a diary queen and some volleyball girls were just having a good time in the back luaghing
and joking with eachother. After eating we found a small bike trail in which we laid down and relaxed and after a few minutes
another biker named Alan joined us and we discuss the bike route and were we came from. Alan started in Pennslavania, biked
and sometimes took train rides over to washington. He is biking becuase he has a job opening in California and I guess he
decided to take the long route over to california. He said he was going to take another train pretty soon and I wish him the
best of luck. Alan then headed back on down the road and we got up and rode on shortly after. After riding about 4 miles down
the trail we met a lady named Joan walking her dog named Willy I believe. She told us about her days of being a bicycler and
her trip down the oregan coast. She even told us about the lewis and clark places around Washington and Oregon and a little
history about the end of the expedition. We took her picture and waved good-bye as we rode off into the sunset. We grabbed
a giant soda and a few muffins at a local gas station and found a campground where we snuck behind some trees and camped out.
(Also. Raymond had all these sculptures that looked like people and animals all around the town. If you ask me though I'll say
the ones that looked like people looked very creepy due to the had no eyes. Just deep black holes for eyes looking at you.)

We woke up around 9 and headed out. met some bikers on the way out too. Not much happened until we reached long
beach. I was starving too. We made a quick stop by the visitors center and met the ladies(Vickie, Joann, Dierdre. Also Dad wants to say "Thanks Vickie one more time") there. After that we went to
a pizza shop named chicos were we ordered a medium pizza and afterwards we was still hungery so we had some quarterpounders
and fries. After that we headed around town and checked out the shops all the cool shops around town. After that we headed
down to the beach and Dad fell asleep in the sand. After that we went down to another restaruant were we orderd some more
hamburgers. After filling up again we biked ontu the legendery longbeach boardwalk and found a great place to camp. While sitting there we met a munch of people who came up to us and wanted to know about our trip. The first was a girl named Jennifer who was riding her own bike. She was down here to see a softball tournament. The next was a couple who's names were Steve and Carol-Jean. They were in a car club called RatBastards and a party was going on in the town. The club has their own website here at
http://www.hotrodwebsite.com/
to join this club you have to have a car at a year of 69 and below or you buiilt it yourself. Another couple came up to us named Sasia and Terry. After that we headed down to giant whale skeleton that is a replica of the one Clark seen when Lewis and him walked on that coast. After seeing the huge skeleton we went back to the tent and wen't on to bed.

Woke up and grabbed some breakfast and a huge bakery back in town. I had three huge chocolate covered doughnats and Dad had his favorite Aplle fitters. After that we went down the bike trail along the beach and checked out the lewis and clark mueum. Before reaching the museum, we stopped at a lighthouse and payed 5 bucks to go up and check it out. The coastline there was called "Cape Disapointment" which is hilarious to me. After leaving the lighthouse we met a very cool couple named Carole and Robert. They had two cute dogs with them. After saying good bye we headed on down to the columbia
river bridge were we finally crossed into Oregon. The famous town Astoria where "the goonies" house is located
. We was able to grabbed a bite to eat at macdonalds and get on wi-fi for a little bit. Also, while we was heading to macdonalds
we found two bicyclist that we met two days ago so we stopped and talked to them. After eating we found a great spot in a
abondoned hotel in a secluded hallway. It would have been perfect but Dads coke from macdonalds spilled all over the floor
and made us move to a less comfertable spot. Well goodnight.

Got up and of course Dad was long gone. PAcked up and of course here he comes around the corner with a coffee cup in
his hand. We left and grabbed some breakfast at macdonalds and left the town. Sure enough the infamous Oregon coast bike path
started at the exit of the town. We jumped ontu the trail and headed off. We went 30miles to the beautiful cannon beach were we rested beside on the sand and looked at the amazing haystack rock. We stayed there for an hour or so and headed off agian for another 10 miles and stayed outside of Manzanita behind a church.

Woke up and you guessed it, Dad was gone. Got up and put the tent up(all by myself) and he came back with, you guessed it, a coffee cup in hand. Told me the whole town was waiting to see me. Sure enough there everyone was looking at me when i walked in. I also got one of the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen from a girl named Summer beside the window. She and her mom left though shortly after I entered the resteruant though so I'll stike that as a loss. After eating breakfast(A very awesome guy gave us 20 bucks to buy our breakfast and to buy some lunch later. We really do run into the greatest people out here. If you are reading this thanks again for the breakfast) and talking with some more people we headed out to Wheeler. We didn't stay long due to Dad's beckoning urge to get back to the ocean. After about 15 minutes of relaxing we met some bikers and a biker that we met the other day came zooming past us screeming "GEORGIA BOYS GONE WILD, WOOHOO". What a thrill that was. After that we headed out to Rockaway beach. Small town and not to far from the ocean. But it was so cold that we decided not to head to the ocean. For the rest of the day we past through the towns of Garibaldi, Bay city, Tillamook were we grabbed a new headset(awesome), and Hebo were we grabbed some corndogs and met some locals there. After dinner was done we grabbed some soda's for the road and headed out about 4 miles down the road were we grabbed a nice bed under a some powerlines.
Quote from Dad: When talking with people, they are always shocked with not only how far we have came, but the things that we have seen. Their jaws drop every time we tell them our story. God had really blessed us well and I would like to say Thanks again for everyone that had took us into their homes, helped us buy food and even just asking about our trip. If you could, please just set up a google or yahoo account and let us know you are reading this by becoming a follower. It is always nice to know that the people we have met are reading and enjoying this blog. Thanks again everyone.
