OK. We just arrived in Anchorage Alaska. The computer says 11:00 yet the sun is still shining. I really gotta get used to the 22 hour sunlight thing over here. But anyway, the flight was enjoyable and we actually got first class seats.
I'm so glad that we didn't dress up for nothing. We had these little TVs right in front of us(on the back of the seat ahead of us) and we was able to see: Over 10 different movies to choice from, live GPS of where we was. Info of flight time, music, TV shows, and HBO. Me and dad watched 2 movies together being "Avatar" and "The Book of Eli". After the movies were done Dad started listening to music and i started watching the movie "Legion". You should have seen my dad, always moving around, having his feet under him and kneeling in the seat, standing in the aisle and when he was sitting down he was sitting on two pillows. I felt bad for him really. Yes Tina, I did have to massage his shoulder. Also, the views were great being up that high especially flying over the rocky mountain range. It was really amazing. There was one spot in the clouds(which there was a lot of them) that you can tell another plane flew right through them. It looked just like a half-pipe on top of the clouds. Of course we took pictures and even a few video's that I'll see if I can find a way to put on the blog for you guys. The airport over here is pretty nice too. Its nowhere near as complicated as the Atlanta airport. Plus it's got a country
stile look to it with the bass pro shop stile walls(with large flat rocks on it with the grey concrete holding it together) and nice carpeted floor's. We headed outside to get some fresh air, look at the mountains(which were huge by the way) and
call Tina. After that we headed back inside and found a great spot to rest for 4 hours which ill take a picture to show you guys and gals. Right now me and dad are goofing around acting like clerks behind this desk and messing with the locals. Alright let me go relax and Ill talk to you guys later.
OK after messing around behind the desk we went upstairs to grab a bite to eat. Then we noticed all these stuffed bears standing around and we thought we should go check them out. There was one that was standing up on it's hind legs and it was actually taller than my Dad! This is a big accomplishment I assure you. Of course dad had me stand next to a bears butt(or the "booty" as this little girl called it) and took a picture of it. After this we went over to the on place to grab a bite to eat and grabbed some pizza(which was very delicious by the way) and went off to catch the next plane ride to Fairbanks. As soon as we arrived it was already boarding(gotta love those "cutting it close" moments) so we just jumped in line and thankfully there was plenty of seats(for once). So we grabbed a seat by the window(we wasn't given a window seat but waited for everyone to board "like good little boys" as my Friend Mathew would say). The plane was quite small compared to the delta jets thus it was a lot more bumpy than the delta planes. On the bright side though the seats were a lot more comfortable than the "bus seats" of the delta planes. What was also awesome was that the flight was only 45 minutes compared to that long, uncomfortable delta flight. Once we landed it was like 4 o' clock in the morning in Georgia so we sped off to the over-sized baggage claim. We grabbed the boxes out of the room and pulled them out of every ones way so I could watch them and Dad could find a taxi. He found a taxi pretty quick and it only cost us 25 dollars to ride to the hostel. So we packed up the taxi(which was a van taxi) and took off. In a mater of minutes we was at the hostel.
Glad to hear you guys made it alright, but seriously...USE A GRAMMAR CHECKER, AAAAARRRGGGHH!
ReplyDeleteIf I made sure everything was perfect I probably would lose valuable time for writing.
